Vanessa Figueroa Escobar nació en Santiago de Chile y desde una edad temprana demostró un gran amor por la música, destacándose siempre en el canto. Durante su tiempo en el colegio, participó en todas las actividades musicales posibles. Comenzó sus estudios de canto a los 12 años y luego de terminar la escuela, comenzó a estudiar Teoría Musical en la Universidad Católica de Chile (UC) en 2016. Después de un año de estudio, Vanessa interrumpió su carrera para mudarse a Alemania.

En Alemania, participó en diferentes talleres y proyectos para luego, en 2019, comenzar a estudiar Canto de Jazz en la Universidad de Música de Hannover (HMTMH), donde en 2024 realizó su concierto de graduación. A través de la universidad, tuvo el privilegio de participar en la beca LMN (Live Music Now) durante cuatro años, donde tuvo la oportunidad de actuar en una variedad de lugares, incluyendo hospitales psiquiátricos, residencias de ancianos y escuelas inclusivas.

Paralelamente, trabajó durante tres años (2020-2023) en la academia de canto CK Voice Lessons. En 2023, comenzó a trabajar como cantante para el crucero MS Europa, viajando y cantando por todo el mundo. Además, como artista independiente, realiza conciertos privados en dúo, trío o con banda.

Vanessa dedica el tiempo restante a componer. Muchas de sus composiciones las interpreta junto con su banda Lázuli, con la cual publicó su primer sencillo "Picaflor" en 2022 y su primer EP "Tiempo" en 2023.

Vanessa Figueroa Escobar was born in Santiago de Chile and demonstrated a great love for music, particularly singing, from a young age. During her time in school, she participated in all possible musical activities. She began her singing studies at the age of 12, and after finishing school, she started studying Music Theory at the Catholic University of Chile (UC) in 2016. After a year of study, Vanessa interrupted her career to move to Germany.

In Germany, she participated in various workshops and projects, and in 2019, she began studying Jazz Singing at the University of Music, Theater, and Media Hannover (HMTMH), where she performed her graduation concert in 2024. Through the university, she had the privilege of participating in the LMN (Live Music Now) scholarship for four years, where she had the opportunity to perform in various institutions such as psychiatric hospitals, nursing homes, and inclusive schools.

Parallel to this, she worked for three years (2020-2023) at the CK Voice Lessons singing academy. In 2023, she began working as a singer for the MS Europa cruise ship, traveling and singing worldwide. Additionally, as an independent artist, she performs private concerts in duo, trio, or with a band.

Vanessa dedicates the remaining part of her time to composing. Many of her compositions are performed with her band Lázuli, with whom she released her first single "Picaflor" in 2022 and her first EP "Tiempo" in 2023.
